We are a leading provider of multifamily housing with apartment units located throughout Edmonton Alberta and we are seeking dynamic, self-starters! This position is responsible for showing suites to prospective tenants and completing all required administrative tasks in order to maintain full occupancy in our apartment buildings. As well, this position is responsible for the general support of the regional and provincial leadership team. This could include a wide variety of duties ranging from office support to cleaning. Strong tenant relation skills, a passion for customer service and sales skills are required as is flexibility and team work.

Key Responsibilities
- Successfully screen prospective tenants
- Show suites and actively close prospective tenants turning them into new avenue living tenants
- Strive to maintain an occupancy rate of 100% for the properties in region
- Negotiate or approve rental or lease of properties on behalf of avenue living
- Ensure terms of lease agreements are enforced
- Troubleshoot with Regional Manager and Provincial Director when issues arise and vacancy rates start to increase.
- Collect and deposit rents in an effective and timely fashion
- Enter information into the MRI operation management software in a timely fashion
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency or trouble calls from Customers

- Willing to travel to a variety of properties
- The successful candidates will be bondable, reliable, and highly professional with a strong work ethic. Working weekends at times is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Passionate about real estate and the ability to close deals quickly
- Ability to manage projects independently
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple situations and deadlines simultaneously
- Must appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- A clear Criminal Background Check will need to be provided if hired
Summary of Professional Experience Required
- Experience in the property management industry preferred, or
- Relevant Customer Service experience required
- ARM certification is a definite asset
- Customer service experience (3+ years)
- High school or GED is a requirement
