During these pressing times, it is likely that your daily newsfeed is filling up every morning with updates on COVID-19. We know, it can be overwhelming, and results in not knowing where to look for your information To assist you in filtering through the barrage of information we have compiled resources for our residents.

Canada

Messages from the Government of Canada should be your initial go-to for information. The Public Health Agency of Canada page is the best resource for everything from updates to travel advice to preventive measures. This site also includes a virtual assistant to help with finding information if you're a little lost on where to look.

Alberta

If you have any symptoms please remember the number to call is Health Link at 811. You can find all COVID-19 information from Alberta Health Services here, while you can also use their self-assessment tool here.

Alberta Health Services host a great resource list to outside sources, Help in Tough Times, which offers help with stress and mental health amongst lots of other information. We've broken some of these down into specific links below.

Need a little pick-me-up? Check out Alberta Health Service's Text4Hope service described as "an evidence-based tool that helps people identify and adjust the negative thoughts, feelings and behaviours a pandemic might be expected to provoke. Through a set of daily messages, people receive advice and encouragement helpful in developing healthy personal coping skills and resiliency."

Saskatchewan

The prairies stick together, right? As in Alberta, in Saskatchewan the number to call if you are experiencing symptoms is HealthLine at 811. In Manitoba, the number to call when experiencing symptoms is Health Links – Info Sante at 204-788-8200. The self-assessment screening tool can be found via Shared Health Manitoba here, which can be completed online or via phone using an interactive voice response format at 1-877-308-9038.
