On February 22, 2025, our Regina team came together to take part in YWCA Regina's Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser! It was an incredible experience filled with community spirit, shared purpose, and the drive to make a real difference in the lives of those facing homelessness.
The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly winter walk that raises funds for local charities supporting individuals struggling with hurt, hunger, and homelessness. As temperatures dropped, our team bundled up and stepped out in solidarity, walking to raise awareness and much-needed support for My Aunt’s Place, Regina’s only emergency shelter for women and families experiencing homelessness.
My Aunt’s Place is a crucial safety net, providing shelter to 32 individuals each night. Operating at nearly full capacity, this YWCA Regina facility offers warmth, stability, and hope to the most vulnerable members of our community. The work being done here is essential, and we are honoured to play a role in supporting its mission.
Beyond participating in the walk, we are also proud sponsors of this remarkable event. Together with other participants and donors, we have helped raise an impressive $68,822 — an inspiring testament to the power of community and generosity.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and continues to stand with those in need. Together, we can make Regina a warmer, safer place for all.
